Associate Registrar – Academic Scheduling

About the role

The Associate Registrar – Academic Scheduling leads the development, administration, and publication of the university's academic schedule, ensuring compliance and service standards across all scheduling systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and publish the master course schedule and related reports.
• Schedule classroom space assignments and advise on non‑academic use of facilities.
• Administer scheduling systems such as Banner, EMS, and CourseLeaf, including performance monitoring, user access, and updates.
• Develop and distribute the Final Exam Schedule and manage weather‑related contingencies.
• Serve as liaison with academic deans, facilities, IT, and the Provost’s office on scheduling matters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and at least four years of higher‑education experience in Registrar, Academic Affairs, or Enrollment Management.
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategic initiatives, relate effectively to students and staff, and supervise staff.
• Strong knowledge of academic and scheduling policies, FERPA compliance, and best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Banner, EMS, and CourseLeaf scheduling systems.
• Experience managing analytics and scheduling software, including data storage, user training, and software updates.
