Associate Recruiter – Executive Search (Austin)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing executive search firm in Austin and are looking for an Associate Recruiter to help build and scale the office. This hands‑on position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, client interaction, and working in an entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end executive search assignments for senior‑manager to C‑suite roles.
• Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, organisational structure, and talent strategy.
• Build and manage strong candidate pipelines through research, outreach, and networking.
• Conduct in‑depth candidate assessments and coordinate interview processes.
• Develop long‑term client relationships and support business‑development initiatives.
• Collaborate with the growing Austin team and global colleagues.

Required profile

• Current staffing background placing direct‑hire candidates (6‑12 months experience).
• Experience in executive search or agency recruitment with permanent placement background.
• Comfort with retained or exclusive searches, or strong interest in transitioning.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to help build a business.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management, and relationship‑building skills.
