Associate Project Manager

About the role

Cloudforce is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support its cloud and AI initiatives. Working in a hybrid setting in National Harbor, MD, you will collaborate with senior Project Managers to keep projects on schedule, ensure quality, and maintain strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in weekly project reporting, including status updates, metrics, milestones, and risks.
• Coordinate resources, equipment, and information to enable smooth delivery.
• Maintain project documentation repositories for internal PMO and client‑facing artifacts.
• Break down projects into actionable tasks with clear timeframes alongside technical staff.
• Liaise with clients to define scope, requirements, and objectives.
• Analyze risks and opportunities and communicate them to the Project Manager.
• Monitor day‑to‑day progress, flag issues, and track internal resource hours.
• Serve as a secondary client contact and help facilitate key meetings, including onsite sessions in the DC‑Metro area.
• Use ClickUp and Microsoft Project to track schedules, tasks, dependencies, and resources.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and own smaller‑scale projects as the primary Project Manager.
