About the role
The University of Arkansas seeks an Associate Professor of Physics to join its Department of Physics on a tenure‑track basis. This full‑time faculty position involves teaching, research, and service within a vibrant, research‑intensive university.
Key responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate physics courses, develop curricula, and assess student learning.
- Maintain an active research program, publish scholarly work, and present at conferences.
- Secure external funding through grant proposals and collaborations.
- Supervise graduate students, post‑doctoral scholars, and undergraduate research assistants.
