About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery. This non‑tenure clinical faculty position involves teaching, research, and clinical responsibilities within a collaborative health‑care environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and graduate medical education in surgery.
- Participate in clinical service delivery and patient care.
- Conduct and support research activities aligned with departmental goals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assessment.
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and mentorship of students and residents.
Required profile
- Doctoral degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) in a relevant medical field.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Arkansas.
