Associate Front End Developer

About the role

As an Associate Front End Developer at Cracker Barrel’s Store Support Center, you will translate approved UI/UX designs into responsive web components and help maintain both customer‑facing and associate‑facing digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Convert UI/UX designs, wireframes, and user stories into responsive front‑end components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React and Next.js.
• Develop and maintain clean, reusable code and UI component libraries.
• Support updates, enhancements, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of web applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, QA, UX designers and developers in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, follow development standards and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Build reusable components that ensure consistency, accessibility, performance and brand compliance.
• Debug front‑end issues using browser tools and performance testing utilities.
• Integrate with internal and external APIs and backend services.
• Assist with unit testing, release support and CI/CD activities.
• Adhere to company privacy, security, accessibility and technology standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience developing responsive websites or web applications.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence or Azure DevOps.
