Associate Financial Advisor – Brooklyn, NY

About the role

Santander is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join its Brooklyn branch. In this client‑focused position you will help individuals identify financial needs, set investment objectives, and deliver tailored investment and insurance solutions while supporting the bank’s growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed investment sales, revenue, and client engagement goals as defined by management.
• Conduct client appointments in‑person, virtually, or by phone to assess financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Manage and grow an assigned portfolio by strengthening relationships and uncovering additional opportunities.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable bank, broker/dealer, FINRA, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers, Field Advisors, and Licensed Bank Employees to generate referrals and support branch investment growth.
• Provide coaching and product awareness to internal partners to enhance referral generation.
• Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and development initiatives.
• Maintain accurate client records and timely activity reporting.
• Keep all required professional licenses, registrations, and continuing education up to date.
