About the role
The University of Miami seeks an Associate Director to lead enterprise pharmacy transformation across retail, specialty, ambulatory, infusion, and population health platforms. This senior leader will translate strategic priorities into actionable implementation plans that drive improved patient outcomes and value‑based care.
Key responsibilities
- Lead pharmacy transformation initiatives, defining scope, milestones, KPIs, and accountability measures.
- Design, optimize, and integrate clinical, operational, business, and data workflows.
- Establish standardized business requirements, technical specifications, and governance processes.
- Oversee full project lifecycles, including planning, risk assessment, executive reporting, and timeline management.
- Partner with IT, analytics, finance, compliance, legal, and operations to support system builds and reporting infrastructure.
- Manage vendor strategy for technology, automation, analytics, and service partners.
- Develop analytics frameworks, executive dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as 340B, URAC, ACHC, and federal requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional change‑management efforts and mentor pharmacy operations staff.
Required profile
- Proven experience leading large‑scale pharmacy transformation or operations programs.
- Strong understanding of clinical, financial, and regulatory aspects of pharmacy services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Experience working with IT, analytics, finance, compliance, and legal stakeholders.
