Associate Director of Facilities – Woodland Glen Student Living

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Director of Facilities for the Woodland Glen student living community. Reporting to the Associate Director of Operations, you will lead the HVAC and Preventive Maintenance teams on‑site in Kentucky, ensuring reliable building performance and supporting capital projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire safety systems, ensuring optimal operation and compliance.
• Manage and coordinate MEP contractors and vendors, develop scopes of work, negotiate service contracts and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality, adherence to specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain the physical appearance and condition of all utility spaces, keeping them clean and orderly.
• Support capital project initiatives by providing technical guidance and coordination.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of single‑phase and three‑phase electrical distribution (120/277/480 V).
• Experience with Building Automation Systems, preferably JCI/Metasys.
• Understanding of mechanical infrastructure including boilers, heat exchangers, cooling towers and water treatment.
• Familiarity with commercial plumbing systems and fire life‑safety equipment.
• Proven ability to lead maintenance teams and manage vendor relationships.
