Associate - Corporate Development & Strategic Finance

About the role

G42 Americas is building the strategic finance and corporate development engine for one of the fastest-growing platforms in AI infrastructure, covering M&A execution, capital allocation, financial planning and strategic decision-making for the Americas business. The role works closely with senior leadership on live transactions, investment evaluations and board materials, with exposure to institutional investors and top-tier advisors. It is a high-ownership seat on a lean team, based in Bellevue, Washington, with onsite presence required.

Key responsibilities

• M&A and transaction execution: build and own financial models (valuation, merger models, accretion/dilution, returns), support live deals through diligence and data room coordination, prepare investment memos and board materials, and coordinate with external advisors
• Strategic finance and business partnering: build operating plans and scenario models, support long-range planning for the Americas business, partner with business leaders on strategic decisions and support capital planning and management reporting
• Capital allocation and investment analysis: evaluate organic and inorganic opportunities, develop capital allocation frameworks and hurdle rate analysis, and pressure-test business cases
• Strategy and executive support: support annual and long-range planning, produce board pre-reads and investor materials, and take on special projects such as market entry and partnerships

Required profile

• 2 to 4 years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or strategy consulting with significant transaction exposure
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering or a related field
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment with minimal oversight
• Strong written communication, able to turn analysis into a one-page recommendation for a CEO

Required skills

• Advanced financial modeling and valuation (three-statement and merger models)
• Preferred: CFA charterholder or progress toward it, experience with strategic finance, FP&A or long-range planning, and exposure to technology, AI infrastructure or data centers

What we offer

• U.S. base salary range of $88,000 to $130,000, with bonus and benefits on top
