Associate Clinical Consultant – Cardiovascular MedTech

About the role

The Associate Clinical Consultant will demonstrate the value of the Impella® product portfolio to physicians and hospital staff, advising interventional cardiologists and surgeons on patient selection, training, and implant procedures. This field‑based position supports heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke solutions across multiple California locations.

Key responsibilities

• Improve patient outcomes through education, clinical demos, and ongoing training for new and existing accounts.
• Collect clinically relevant data, complete outcome reviews with customers, and communicate findings to sales and team members.
• Attend implants, consult physicians and staff on appropriate use, and utilize Integrity Selling to drive product adoption.
• Set up 1:1 physician meetings, host dinner programs, and collaborate on awareness activities with sales counterparts.

Required profile

• 2+ years of direct RN/NP/PA or Reg Tech patient support in ICU, CVICU, Cath Lab or cardiovascular OR experience.
• 2+ years of commercial sales experience related to cardiovascular products and technologies.
• Availability to take call for emergent patient care and travel up to 50% within the territory.
• Hands‑on Impella support experience and RN license strongly preferred.
