Associate Client Advisor – Energy & Power Property Insurance

About the role

Marsh is hiring an Associate Client Advisor for its Energy & Power Property Insurance team, based in the New York, Houston or Los Angeles offices. You will advise complex clients on their business priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs, and help place clients with the best terms and conditions available in the marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Act as lead advisory colleague on smaller, less complex books of business.
• Develop renewal and placement strategies with the Placement, Advisory Leader and Client Executive, and execute according to client instructions.
• Analyze carrier quotes and share analysis with senior colleagues and clients to support solutions and renewals.
• Support senior colleagues in reaching business goals and RFPs through research and document preparation.
• Manage follow-up on coverage changes with underwriters so coverage specifications are correct.
• Build and maintain client and market contacts at the right level.

Required profile

• 2-3 years of property commercial experience; energy and power experience preferred.
• P&C license required, or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues, clients and carriers, and a self-starting, collaborative approach.

What we offer

• Base salary of $92,500 to $197,100, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors; possible performance-based incentives.
