Associate Attorney – Banking & Real Estate

About the role

Lippes Mathias LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Banking and Financial Transactions Practice Group in Rochester. The role focuses on banking and real estate matters, providing legal support to both lenders and borrowers across a range of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior attorneys in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, and related real‑estate contracts.
• Conduct legal research on banking regulations, real‑estate law, and related compliance issues.
• Support client interactions, helping to build and maintain strong relationships.
• Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the firm’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney (full‑time) with a strong interest in banking and real‑estate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Commitment to professional development and client service.
