About the role

The Assistant Vice President of Revenue Cycle Applications provides strategic leadership for Ochsner Health’s Epic Revenue Cycle portfolio, aligning technology investments with operational priorities and financial performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership for the Revenue Cycle application portfolio, ensuring technology investments align with organizational and financial objectives.
• Partners with Revenue Cycle Operations leadership to prioritize initiatives and align application strategy with operational goals.
• Develops and maintains application roadmaps for Revenue Cycle systems, including future‑state planning and optimization opportunities.
• Leads and develops high‑performing teams responsible for Revenue Cycle applications and related technologies.
• Drives optimization and adoption of Epic functionality across Revenue Cycle workflows and champions continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive healthcare IT experience, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• 7+ years experience with Epic Revenue Cycle applications (Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, HIM).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business Administration, or Finance/Accounting; preferred Master’s (MBA, MHA, MSIS).

• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing certification (upon hire).
• Epic Resolute Professional Billing certification (upon hire).
• Epic Claims certification (upon hire).
• Epic HIM certification (upon hire).
