Assistant Vice President - Bank Supervision Under $100 Billion

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant Vice President to lead the safety and soundness program for state member banks and holding companies with assets under $100 billion. This senior supervisory position oversees regulatory events, examiner development, and policy implementation across the Third District and related entities in the Second District.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all supervisory mandates and scheduled events are completed on time and in compliance with Board and System guidance.
• Oversee examiner hiring, onboarding, education, and the Examiner Commissioning Program, guaranteeing adherence to Board‑mandated training.
• Implement efficient examination workflows using automated tools, maintain robust controls, and conduct regular quality‑control reviews.
• Review and apply Board‑issued supervisory policy and guidance, updating processes for institutions under $100 billion.
• Manage examiner resources based on portfolio demand, complexity, and risk.
• Represent the Reserve Bank on leadership groups such as CBOMG and RBOMG and other committees.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in bank supervision and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of Board supervisory policies and guidance.
• Proven ability to lead and develop examination staff.
• Excellent analytical and risk‑assessment skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
