Assistant Technical Designer

About the role

The Technical Design team at Beyond Yoga is looking for a full‑time Assistant Technical Designer to support sample development, fit documentation and cross‑functional coordination. This hybrid position is based at the Culver City headquarters and reports to the Director of Technical Design.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log and measure development samples; compile fit lists for cross‑functional partners.
• Attend weekly fittings, document detailed fit notes, and track corrections.
• Manage block, core and seasonal fit sample racks and order bulk samples for review.
• Coordinate sample requests, provide product details to Customer Service, and process department invoices in the ERP system.
• Support special projects and departmental needs as assigned.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of Technical Design experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of garment construction and sample measurement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel for data tracking.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
• Experience with PLM or PDM systems; familiarity with ERP invoicing.

What we offer

• Hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, Tuesday‑Thursday).
• Salary range $69,000 – $85,000 per year, based on experience and location.
