About the role

The University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College is seeking an Assistant Teaching Professor to join its Social and Behavioral Sciences Department. The appointment is a non‑tenure‑track faculty position beginning Fall 2026, focused on delivering high‑quality instruction in History and Political Science.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in History and Political Science on campus, with the possibility of delivering classes at multiple locations.
• Develop and update course materials, syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
• Utilize live‑streaming, webinar, and online platforms to support hybrid or remote delivery as needed.
• Engage in student advising and support to promote academic success.
• Maintain high academic standards and contribute to departmental initiatives.
