Assistant Superintendent

About the role

Visionary Homes is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support daily construction operations across multiple residential communities in St. George, Utah. You will work closely with the Superintendent, subcontractors, inspectors, and homeowners to ensure homes are built on schedule, to high quality standards, and with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with subcontractor scheduling and coordination.
• Conduct daily inspections of homes under construction to enforce quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules, track construction progress, and report deviations.
• Schedule and walk inspections with city inspectors.
• Lead homeowner orientations, walk‑throughs, and re‑walks to ensure satisfaction.
• Document homeowner punch‑list items and coordinate repairs with subcontractors.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and communities.
• Support the implementation of company policies and consistent construction methods.

Required profile

• Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year of related construction experience preferred.
• Experience in residential construction.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with subcontractors and homeowners.
