Assistant Store Manager – Walnut Creek

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in delivering a creative, selling‑centric experience at our Walnut Creek location. You will help shape the future of retail while upholding Beyond Yoga’s core values of quality, inclusivity, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily store procedures, manage payroll, handle cash, and control inventory.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and financial plans, focusing on employee engagement and collaborative selling.
• Analyze performance metrics (conversion, units per transaction, sales per hour) and develop strategies to improve them.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining store team members.
• Lead onboarding, teaching brand values, product knowledge, and selling culture.
• Maintain flawless visual presentation and recommend merchandising adaptations.
• Oversee accurate receiving, shipping, price changes, RTVs, markdowns, and transfers.
• Partner with the Home Office on business directives and loss‑prevention initiatives.
