Assistant Store Manager – SoHo Flagship

About the role

ANINE BING is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its flagship SoHo location in New York. You will partner closely with the Store Manager to deliver a client‑first experience, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence in a fast‑paced fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, communicating ANINE BING’s values and story to clients and teammates.
• Build lasting client relationships through personalized, high‑touch service.
• Support the Store Manager in daily sales leadership, KPI tracking, and overall store operations.
• Develop styling expertise and mentor the team on fashion knowledge.
• Generate sales via client outreach, repeat appointments, and external consignment opportunities.
• Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising standards, and cleanliness.
• Assist with inventory management, online order fulfillment, cash handling, cycle counts, and store maintenance.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of retail experience in contemporary, advanced contemporary, or luxury markets.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer‑service skills with a client‑centric mindset.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals, manage budgets, and perform retail math.
• Strong coaching, performance‑management, and team‑building capabilities.
• Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, and adaptable to a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and retail holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
