Assistant Store Manager – Full Time

About the role

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations at a GameStop location. Working with minimal supervision, you will help create a welcoming environment, drive sales, and ensure guests receive exceptional service. This full‑time position is pivotal in maintaining store standards and developing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Process sales, returns, and trade‑ins accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure products are easy to locate.
• Promote GameStop programs such as reservations, trade‑ins, and Pro Rewards.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Handle phone inquiries and escalate complex issues to the Store Manager.
• Assist with training staff on customer service, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
