Assistant Professor – Orthodontics

About the role
Saint Louis University’s Center for Advanced Dental Education seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor in Orthodontics to join its graduate program. The successful candidate will teach orthodontic courses, supervise clinical cases, and build an active research agenda.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver graduate‑level orthodontic instruction and supervise clinical training.
- Develop and maintain a robust research program, including grant writing and publication.
- Mentor graduate students and contribute to curriculum development.
- Participate in departmental service, committees, and community outreach.
Required profile
- DDS, DMD or equivalent foreign degree.
- CODA‑accredited orthodontic training.
- Master of Science in Orthodontics.
- Demonstrated research experience.
- Eligibility for dental licensure in Missouri.
Required skills
- Clinical orthodontic expertise.
- Research methodology and academic writing.
