About the role
The William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an entry‑level, tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Law. The successful candidate will join a vibrant faculty and begin teaching in August 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Teach core courses such as Torts and, as needed, Remedies and Professional Responsibility.
- Develop and deliver course materials that balance theory, skill development, and experiential learning.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of access to justice, public service, and professionalism through scholarship and service.
- Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and student advising.
Required profile
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
- Strong writing and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Outstanding academic credentials (preferred).
