The University of Miami seeks a full‑time Assistant Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology with a focus on head and neck and skull base surgery. The appointment combines patient care, research, and education within a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clinical practice at UHealth, including surgery and outpatient clinic (≈40% effort).
• Clinical practice at the Miami VA (≈40% effort).
• Dedicated academic block time to develop an independent research program (≈20% effort).
• Teaching, training, and supervision of residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Participation in departmental and school committees and hospital administrative activities.

Required profile

• Board certified or board‑eligible in Otolaryngology‑Head & Neck Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in head and neck surgery and skull base surgery.
• Commitment to academic scholarship and clinical excellence.
