About the role

The University of Miami School of Medicine seeks a non‑tenure‑track Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track in the Cerebrovascular Division of Neurology. The role combines patient care, teaching, and research in stroke and cerebrovascular disease.

Key responsibilities

Provide outpatient care in UHealth and Jackson Health System clinics.
Deliver inpatient care at Jackson Health System hospitals.
Train and mentor physicians and staff.
Prepare and present at teaching conferences.
Develop a research program in cerebrovascular diseases.
Collect data to support future clinical research award applications.

Required profile

MD degree from an accredited university (or foreign equivalent).
Cerebrovascular fellowship required; board certification in Neurology strongly recommended.
Eligibility for a Florida medical license.

Required skills

Effective communication (face‑to‑face, phone, written).
Excellent customer service.
Collaborative teamwork.
Strong organizational abilities.
