About the role
Abilene Christian University's Department of Kinesiology and Nutrition is hiring an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree. This is a 9-month full-time tenure-track faculty position. The university is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ, and all qualified applicants must be professing Christians and active, faithful members of a congregation of the Churches of Christ, willing to support the Christian mission and purpose of the university.
Key responsibilities
- Teach a variety of Kinesiology courses
- Mentor undergraduate students
- Nurture experiential learning and interprofessional education
- Deliver high-quality teaching in the classroom and in the laboratory within a Christ-centered environment
Required profile
- A doctoral degree is required
- Commitment to the quality education of undergraduate Kinesiology students
- Willingness to join a diverse faculty team representing the community, student population and those served
