About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks an Assistant Professor in General Internal Medicine to join its academic faculty. This full‑time, regular position involves teaching, clinical care, and scholarly activities within a collaborative health‑care environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality patient care in internal medicine clinics and inpatient settings.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through lectures, bedside instruction, and mentorship.
- Develop and deliver curriculum for internal medicine education.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and community outreach.
Required profile
- Board‑certified or eligible in Internal Medicine.
- MD or DO degree with eligibility for academic appointment.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, patient care, and research.
- Legal authority to work in the United States.
