About the role
The University of Miami School of Medicine seeks a non‑tenure‑track Assistant Professor on the clinical educator track within the Cognitive Division of the Department of Neurology. The incumbent will provide clinical care for patients with cognitive and memory disorders, support translational research, and contribute to education and mentorship activities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver outpatient care to patients in UHealth and Jackson Health System settings.
- Train and mentor physicians, staff, and trainees.
- Prepare and present material at teaching conferences.
- Support and advance the research program focused on memory diseases.
- Generate data and results to support future clinical research grant applications.
Required profile
- MD degree from an accredited university (or foreign equivalent).
- Completed fellowship in Cognitive/Memory Disorders.
- Board certification in Neurology is strongly recommended.
- Eligibility for a Florida medical license.
- Strong communication, customer service, and collaborative skills.
