About the role
The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor to join the Department of Neurological Surgery. This clinical faculty position focuses on advanced endovascular management of cerebrovascular disease and includes patient care at UHealth Tower and other affiliated hospitals.
Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endovascular procedures for cerebrovascular conditions.
- Provide clinical care to patients within the department and affiliated hospitals.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching and mentorship of trainees.
- Engage in research initiatives related to neuro‑endovascular techniques.
Required profile
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Neurological Surgery residency.
- One‑year fellowship training in Endovascular Neurosurgery.
- Board eligibility in Neurosurgery.
- Eligibility for a Florida medical license (or current license).
- Strong interest in research and academic scholarship.
