About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Los Cerritos Center store. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through customer service, overseeing daily store operations, updating floor displays, and leading recruiting, training and development. It is built on a promote-from-within philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines
• Supervise sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service
• Handle staffing, scheduling, payroll and train non-management staff
• Demonstrate product knowledge and build visual displays
• Analyze reporting to inform decisions, protect store assets and run inventory control
• Operate register and point-of-sale systems and fulfill omni-channel orders
• Represent the brand and company culture

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role
• Strong customer focus and knowledge of current fashion trends
• Strong communication, interpersonal and coaching skills, team building and initiative
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
