Assistant Manager - Eastview Mall

About the role

Abercrombie & Fitch is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Eastview Mall store. The role combines business strategy, operations, creativity and people management: driving sales through analysis and customer service, overseeing daily store operations, and leading the team from recruiting and training to engagement and development. It is built on a promote-from-within philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines.
• Supervise the sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth operations.
• Handle staffing and scheduling, and manage payroll.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decisions, protect store assets and run inventory control.
• Operate register and point-of-sale systems and fulfill omni-channel orders.
• Represent the brand and embody company culture and values.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong work ethic, communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to coach others.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
