About the role
AmeriLux Family of Companies is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator to join its production team. The position offers a competitive hourly wage, a $1,250 sign‑on bonus paid in installments, and a full suite of benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Package finished products accurately and meet production output goals.
- Complete production documentation and report downtime, scrap, or defects.
- Participate in training and support team development.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for 12‑hour shifts.
- Capability to lift or carry at least 50 lb.
- Comfort working in a hot environment.
- Effective communication with team members.
