Assistant Construction Superintendent

About the role

Join AECOM Hunt in Nashville as an Assistant Construction Superintendent, supporting the project Superintendent and Project Manager on a large‑scale construction site. You will help ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with daily construction activities.
• Monitor and enforce project safety compliance, including applicable safety riders.
• Inspect engineering installations for adherence to specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with administrative field staff and subcontractors.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of relevant construction site experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Physical ability to meet construction site demands.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction project management software.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience managing subcontracted labor.
