Assistant Construction Manager – Project Coordination

About the role

The Assistant Construction Manager supports the Construction team in delivering new store openings and renovations across North America. You will work closely with the Construction Manager, external vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects organized from conception through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Manager throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with contractors, architects, and trade suppliers to align scope, schedule, and budget.
• Track project budgets, identify risks, and propose solutions in partnership with the Construction Manager.
• Support store closure or relocation processes and manage warranty requests for up to one year after opening.
• Handle administrative duties such as lien waiver collection, document tracking, and financial forecasting.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to the broader Store Development team as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience on a construction management or project coordination team.
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple business functions.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb; up to 10 % travel.
