Assistant Community Manager – The Oaks at Riverbend

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of The Oaks at Riverbend. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensures accurate rent collection, and maintains the integrity of the property‑management system.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports, and process invoices, payables and vendor reimbursements.
• Operate the Yardi/OneSite property‑management software, entering transactions accurately and performing regular system backups.
• Review resident files for delinquent balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Submit and code vendor invoices, coordinate approvals, and manage communications between vendors, accounting and ownership.
• Assist with eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings when required, and process resident move‑outs, including lease term reviews and deposit calculations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors and internal teams.
• Understanding of lease agreements, eviction processes and standard accounting practices.
• Ability to follow established company procedures and maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
