Assistant Community Manager – The Ensley

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at The Ensley, a Greystar‑managed garden‑style community in Sarasota, Florida. The role focuses on the day‑to‑day financial and operational tasks that keep the community running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Process invoices, issue payments and maintain vendor records.
• Assist with month‑end close, generate financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Enter and track all financial transactions using Greystar’s property management software.
• Support the Community Manager with budgeting, expense monitoring and resident inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple financial tasks accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a property management team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software for financial tracking.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Experience with bank deposits, invoice processing and account reconciliation.
