Assistant Community Manager – Property Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Lock Vista property in Seattle. The role involves handling rent collection, accounting tasks, resident relations, and assisting with leasing activities while ensuring high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits.
• Process invoices and payables, and perform account reconciliations.
• Stay informed on rent assistance policies from federal, state, and local agencies.
• Assist the leasing team with virtual and in-person apartment tours.
• Review and submit vendor, contractor, and service provider invoices for payment.
• Process resident move-outs, reviewing lease terms and handling dispositions according to procedures.
• Respond promptly to resident questions, concerns, and service requests.
• Collaborate with the on-site office and marketing teams to organize safe, socially-distanced resident events.
• Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager.

Required profile

• High performer with a strong focus on customer service.
• Ability to act as on-site supervisor when the Community Manager is unavailable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software for financial tracking and reporting.
