Assistant Community Manager – Pilot & Park

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Pilot & Park community. This position involves daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and the use of property‑management software to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out.
• Generate financial reports and track community financial performance.
• Enter and update transactions in Yardi/OneSite, maintaining data integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Review, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment, coordinating with the Community Manager.
• Assist with eviction procedures and represent the community in court hearings when required.
• Process resident move‑outs by reviewing lease terms and coordinating final accounting.

Required profile

• Experience with residential property management accounting or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday 9 am‑6 pm with rotating weekend duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
• Fundamental accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Experience handling rent collection, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
