Assistant Community Manager – La Vue at Emerald Pointe

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at La Vue at Emerald Pointe. This position focuses on the financial and operational aspects of the community, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits, reconcile bank accounts, and process month‑end close‑out.
• Generate financial reports and maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
• Enter and update data in the property management system (Yardi/OneSite) and perform regular system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to minimize delinquencies.
• Review, code, and submit vendor invoices for payment, coordinating with the Community Manager and owners.
• Follow established eviction procedures, including notice requirements and court representation when needed.
• Process resident move‑outs by reviewing lease terms and ensuring proper account closures.

Required profile

• Ability to assist the Community Manager with financial and operational tasks.
• Experience handling rent collection, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with eviction processes and lease enforcement.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
