Assistant Community Manager

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager of Heinz Lofts in Pittsburgh. The role focuses on daily financial operations, resident communications, and vendor coordination within a residential property.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices, code charges, and manage vendor payments through Yardi/OneSite.
• Prepare monthly close‑out reports and other financial statements.
• Review resident accounts, communicate delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, including deposit calculations and lease termination fees.
• Assist with eviction procedures and represent the community in court when required.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management software and perform regular backups.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience in property management, accounting, or bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
