Assistant Community Manager – Enclave Community

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Enclave at Hometown community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and ensures accurate financial reporting using property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Generate monthly close‑out and financial reports; process vendor invoices and payables.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, entering data accurately and maintaining system integrity.
• Review resident files for unpaid balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Submit vendor invoices for approval, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
• Follow established eviction procedures, represent the community in court hearings when required.
• Process resident move‑outs, applying lease terms, deposit refunds, and applicable fees.

Required profile

• Ability to assist the Community Manager with financial and operational duties.
• Strong attention to detail for accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
• Effective communication with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Familiarity with property‑management processes and lease enforcement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
