Assistant Community Manager – Arbor Ridge

About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the Arbor Ridge community. This position handles day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensures accurate rent collection, and maintains the integrity of the property management system.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Process invoices, code charges to the appropriate Chart of Accounts, and manage vendor communications.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite property management software, entering transactions accurately and performing regular system backups.
• Review resident files for unpaid or late fees, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Prepare monthly close‑out financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Support eviction procedures, including notice compliance and representation in court hearings.
• Handle resident move‑out processes, including lease termination, deposit calculations, and final billing.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the Community Manager.
• Basic understanding of real‑estate leasing and property management operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property management software.
• Fundamental accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Experience with invoice processing and financial reporting.
