Assistant Community Manager – Alta Piney Creek

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager at the Alta Piney Creek property in Aurora, Colorado. The role focuses on the financial and operational aspects of the community, ensuring accurate accounting, timely rent collection, and smooth day‑to‑day financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees and other resident payments.
• Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Process invoices, payables and expense reimbursements.
• Assist in monthly close‑out and prepare financial reports for the community.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management software, tracking all financial transactions.
• Support the Community Manager with budgeting, account dispositions and other operational tasks.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented individual with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents and internal teams.

• Proficiency with property management software.
