About the role

The Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology seeks a non‑tenure‑track Assistant Clinical Professor of Counseling to lead the on‑campus counseling and training clinic, beginning as early as Spring 2027.

Key responsibilities

Direct the department’s on‑campus counseling and training clinic.
Engage in community outreach initiatives.
Teach practicum/internship courses and advise students.
Participate in program development.

Required profile

Doctorate in counselor education.
Licensure or eligibility for Texas LPC or LMFT.
Three or more years of post‑graduate professional counseling experience.
Clinical supervision experience.
Professional identity and training in one of the department’s counseling specialties.
Experience with community engagement and outreach.
