Assistant CFO / Financial Controller – Real Estate Focus

About the role

This high‑visibility position sits directly under the CFO of a multi‑entity private family office in Miami Beach. The Assistant CFO/Financial Controller will oversee accounting for a diverse portfolio, primarily focused on real‑estate assets, while preparing to step into the CFO role within a year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle corporate accounting for 50+ entities.
• Manage month‑end close, journal entries, accruals and depreciation.
• Review, organize and strengthen financial statements across the portfolio.
• Supervise the Controller and broader accounting staff.
• Provide high‑level reporting and insights to ownership.
• Ensure clean, accurate, and timely financials in a high‑discretion environment.

Required profile

• Proven real‑estate accounting experience (non‑negotiable).
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Extensive multi‑entity accounting and financial reporting background.
• Experience working directly with owners or senior executives.
• Strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach.
