Assembler Technician I – 2nd Shift

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group in Torrance, CA is seeking an Assembler Technician I for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm‑10:30 pm). Reporting to the Assembly and Test Supervisor, the assembler will perform precision assembly, follow standard procedures, adjust or align components through shimming, and use mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling and gauges to maintain dimensional accuracy. The role requires working from written and oral assembly instructions, holding problem units for engineering disposition, ensuring units are set up and tested per current revisions, and using mechanical or electronic measuring equipment to validate acceptance. The technician will order parts via the RUR and WDS systems and document parts replaced and work performed on data sheets. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer instructions in English, basic math skills, FAA safety‑sensitive status, technical aptitude, hands‑on experience with electrical systems (a plus), and basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
