Assembler I – 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

About the role

Join Alfa Laval’s production team as an Assembler I on the 2nd shift, assembling cooler units from components and sub‑assemblies. You will work from detailed drawings and instructions, using a variety of tools to ensure each product meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints and assembly instructions to position parts and sub‑assemblies.
• Assemble cooler components using hand and power tools, radial drills, fin‑tube machinery and other equipment.
• Perform tube installation, rolling operations and operate cut saws, drill presses and punch presses as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions with supervision.
• Load and unload trucks, move materials with forklifts and overhead cranes, and keep the work area clean.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures and calipers.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Forklift certification and overhead crane experience (preferred).

Required skills

• Radial drills, fin‑tube machinery, large vertical band saw, presses, breaks and shears.
