Assembler – 2nd Shift

About the role

The Assembler 2nd shift at OTTO Engineering performs a variety of manufacturing duties in a clean, air‑conditioned environment. You will assemble parts using light bench equipment, hand and power tools, and follow simple instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble a limited variety of parts with few details.
• Use light bench equipment, hand and power tools, and assembly/test fixtures.
• Perform simple adjustments and interpret routers, bills of materials, and portions of blueprints.
• Assist with related duties as required.

Required profile

• No prior experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lb.
• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate colors on certain jobs.
• Pass visual acuity and color‑vision screening (20/25 in both eyes).

Required skills

• Use of light bench equipment.
• Operation of simple hand and power tools.
• Reading routers, bills of materials, and basic blueprint sections.
