Asbestos Supervisor

About the role

Advanced Disaster Recovery, Inc. (ADRI) is expanding its Hudson Valley team and seeks an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead abatement projects in New York. The role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while delivering safe, high‑quality work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise asbestos abatement projects and field teams, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.
• Oversee containment setup, removal activities, and site cleanup in accordance with NYS and federal regulations.
• Conduct daily safety and respirator fit tests, and maintain accurate project records and equipment logs.
• Train, mentor, and coach technicians on safe work practices and proper tool usage.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of asbestos abatement experience, including supervisory experience.
• Valid New York State Asbestos Supervisor/Handler certifications and a clean driver’s license.
• Current physical and respirator fit test; ability to read, write, and speak English (Spanish preferred).
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights or weekends, and pass a background check.
