Armed Security Officer - Driver Entry Verification

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring an Armed Access Control Officer in Boca Raton, Florida, to work at a premier private club. The role safeguards clients across a range of industries by monitoring entry points, verifying access, responding to security concerns and providing customer service. It is a driving post that keeps the officer visible and helps deter incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, guests, vendors and staff while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records and direct guests according to location policies.
• Respond calmly and professionally to access concerns, incidents and critical situations, notifying the right people and documenting activities as required.
• Carry out regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, clubhouse surroundings and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Report security observations, maintenance concerns and policy violations to club personnel.

Required profile

• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement or military experience.
• A valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy; required for driving positions only.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
